Reading is one of the only things we still do without an algorithm pushing the next thing at us. Twenty minutes with a paperback is twenty minutes the rest of the internet doesn't get. We wanted an app that protects that — not one that interrupts it.
So Reads is small on purpose. There is no infinite scroll. No "people you might know". No notifications begging you to come back. Just a beige page where you write down what you read, give it a fair rating, and read what other readers thought.
The picks at the end of every shelf aren't ranked by what's trending — they're ranked by what you, specifically, are likely to love.
